Greeting all! I'm brand new to the world of Mac & Music and desperately want to know how to convert my old vinyl albums to MP3. I have my stereo and an Imac and am itching to get going. Any suggestions? blink.gif

Well, have a look to Peak and Spark, they will allow you to record your vinyls, and then apply an equalization and a dynamic processing on songs freshly recorded. You would even be able to save them as mpeg1-layer3 :-)
But you'll need an audio interface for the audio inputs, untill you use the "poor" microphone input provided with i-macs (?).

Many other solutions exist, just check the search function right here (upper/right). Or have a look to the soft section, also right here on MacMusic.

If you need more infos on what kind of eq corrections to apply, or the such, don't hesitate to post on the "Open-Bar" section.

Bye.
