I bought a Presonus Firebox last fall when the price dropped. Nice unir. I was unable to open Audacity however getting this arror message:
Error while opening sound device. Please check the output device settings and the project sample rate. I found the audacity problems and this seems to be unresolved at the moment. The lead developer says that they hope to support 'other audio devices' soon. Not a direct quote but something like that. But the Beta version 1.3 doesn't work either. Other folks are reporting gray screens in Tiger, crashes, etc. Too bad, i find Audacity to be a great app. whereas logic seems like overkill for me. I'm using demo Amadeus. I don't what else is out there... BOba |
