I've noticed that in the KEY COMMANDS window, there's an option to IMPORT KEY COMMANDS. Underneath that there's the option to COPY KEY COMMANDS TO CLIPBOARD. So I did. Then I pasted them into a Simple Text file. Then I altered one key command in Logic and tried to import the text file. But when you click ont the IMPORT KEY COMMANDS option, a window opens showing no text files.

My question: what sort of files is logic looking for? How do you export your KEY COMMANDS so that you can reimport them again later?

formatj is right,
to simplify his point, when you choose import key commands, just navigate to the song file that contains the key command/s that you want! they're automatically saved with the rest of the song's data.
you "over-egged the pudding" with the simpletext stuff... wink.gif
