I was in middle of recording when my g4 got "stuck" and I had to restart. I had saved a couple of times while recording was in process... I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I also tried renaming the session while recording. When I restarted, the original session was balnk (no audio files), but in the audio file folder I can still see the files. I tried importing them and it says PT cant read the files. I've also tried using differemt audio programs to open or listen and none can read them. The "lost" files take up 3Gig of space, so it seems that they are there. I've also repaired all disks, etc... still nothing.
Can anyone pleae help me figure out how to get these traks back... (it was a live concert recording so re-tracking it is not an option...) Thanks |

I recently rescued some PT audio with soundhack - load in a sound and see what it says - I had to fix the headers. problems with a crash while you are recording though might not be so easy
soundhack is free. Try any other sound app you can mick |
