Hello guys
I have 20 inch apple monitor which I would like to use( actually switch) between two computers my G5 and my laptop G4. I think I need some kind of KVM or DVI switch -around 50 $. There is so many products and I'm kind of confused . So my question - does anybody knows the exact name of this switch. Thanks for your time. Milan |

Milan,
You are looking for a KVM (Keyboard-Video-Monitor) switch which will allow you to control two computers with a single mouse/keyboard and share a single monitor. I have used a few and really like the IOGear line the best for reliability. There are a number of 2 port KVMs available. Check the IOGear Site for a list of those that are available and see which one best fits your needs. I use the MiniView™ Micro USB PLUS KVM Switch, Model # GCS632U with good results between a G5 tower and my PBG4. A double-tap on the control key switches between the CPUs. Hope this helps. peace, deacon -------------------- |
