Hello I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good method to free up any hardrive space that may be bogged down by unused files. I have my first recording session tonight and I want to make sure I have optimized m hardrive space. I'm new to logic, mac, and ccomputers in general, and I'm not sure if throwing a folder in the trash completely frees any space on the drive. Thanks for your thoughts!

Perhaps the easiest way is to have an extra harddrive.
( a total of three drives then one for OS-X - one for projects & audio + a third)

Copy projects & audio from drive 2 to drive 3.
Reformat drive 2.
Keep working on drive 3.

Eventually copy things from drive 3 to drive 2.
Reformat drive 3 & keep working on drive 2.

etc, etc.
