Hi,

My question fits in this topic title : I don't find how to set the sample Rate on my DAT recorder Sony TCT-D8 ... And I can't find my user guide either ! sad.gif

Does somebody know where the secret is ?

hi

well, one of the differences is that the D8 has actually 3 modes i remember,48,44,and 32,the D7 (the grey one with the red record button) has only two.
you can set the recording sample rate with the switches ,that is their purpose, when playing back, the dat will recognize the tape's sampling rate automatically.don't forget to assign the recording type to 'manual' ,otherwise if you have any radical drop on the dynamics of the material ,it will separate it.
good luck!
