Hi,
Just wondering if anyone is using two computers within their recording set-up (E.G one to play soft synths, one to record). I'm thinking of using a PC with my current g4 1.33 Powerbook (I have a lot of PC software from a previous set-up). I'm using a MOTU 828MKII via firewire with the mac at the moment, but the mac can't cope with playing & recording when I use NI products etc. I know that the MOTU has two firewire ports, but I'm pretty new to this. Just wondering if this is possible & if anyone has any experience. Also, has anyone got any tips for tweaking a G4 Powerbook for recording. Any advice would be helpful. Vega |
