i recently bought an 828 from eBay, without a manual or any software. i downloaded the drivers for it from the motu website, but i do not know how to set it up with the sequencing software i am using (logic 4) nor indeed make my computer (indigo ibook) and the 828 talk to each other beyond recognising each other in the control panel. what is the audiodesk software like? what does the manual say?

any help would be much appreciated!

i use logic 4 & 5 AND an 828(where's my prize?), to use the 828 with asio you'll probably have to download the asio driver from steinberg's site.
you can use it with the macav though, wink.gif go to control panels-sound.
go to output and you should see the 828 as an option, select it. cool.gif
if it dosen't appear, go to the motu control panel and check the little box that says "enable soundmanager", then go back to the sound control panel. huh.gif
i hope this helps, if not let me know...
