I was wondering in Logic Express how to manage all the unwanted recording takes that get automatically saved. If Im recording a guitar part and it takes me 20 takes to get it right, Logic seems to save all 20 takes even though I undo the recording I dont want, it still saves them all and asks for them all.

How can I manage this better and keep file sizes down.

mmm. they dont seem to be there. After I undo recording the recorded piece disappears, then I record again. If I keep a recording then manually delete it, it does ask if I want to delete from drive and it deletes all recordings with that prefix.

But if I undo recording, so there is no recording in the arrange window of that channel, it is still stored in the hard drive.

I will double check this however.

Also can I go through my audio files folder and manually delte the recording takes I don't want, or will I destroy the good ones as well. Are they depepndent on each other?

Sometime when Ive deleted a file it still asks for it at start up?

Cheers for your help
