I just bought an old powermac 7500 and wonder which audiocard best to use with it.
Do the audiophile 2496 work on powermac 7500 or just on G3, G4? If anyone have a suggestion for what audiocard to use with this machine i would be glad. Best regards JT |

I had an 8500 back in the day. I used a Digidesign Audiomedia III (pci) card with SoundDesigner II and ProTools 3/4/5. PT5 LE is good for having lots of plugs, 24 bit data, and up to 32 tracks.
RME HDSP 32/96 is a fantastic card, but if you can't afford a B/W G3, you won't spring for a $200 used card. No ProTools with the RME card. good luck. Karl |
