greetings,

just before i send my Layla24 back to Echo (on their advice) ....

Has anybody had trouble playing ANYTHING back at correct speed thru the Layla?
(OSX 10.2.8 + Layla with 1.3 driver + i-tunes.)

I've tried every setting i can find on the Layla and in the Audio/Midi Window, but CDs/Logic files always play back too slow.

If any Layla users have have this problem.. please shout..

regards

have you got a word clock or spdif source you can try?
Don't forget, spdif is just unbalanced AES so you can get spdif from an AES source by unbalancing the lead.

If all sounds good this way then you could have a driver issue but it's not a definitive test.

You need to find an ideal core audio / mac os / echo24 setup as the driver won't have been updated since early Jaguar, maybe an earlier core audio or earlier jaguar will help.

Have you got any other pci cards installed? Are there any user groups etc?
