hey everyone. OMS seems much better at finding my midiman sport 2x2. Freemidi just finds my keyboard and ignores my midiman all together. There are alot of annoying default settings through out DP that are set to OFF! A Control panel that is under the apple menu items for the Motu Fire Wire to monitor through the sound manager instead of controlling it with in DP for example. Anyway, blah blah...my question:

Does freemidi suck or what. Should I use OMS? If so, How do I control which midi software DP3 uses. Once you choose FREEMIDI, your stuck unless you re-install?

I thought Cubase was bad, but I'm getting wierded out here..please help.

aah, what a shame, if you were using logic you wouldn't have to bother with either of these pieces of c#*p. wink.gif
it's well documented on this site already, oms sucks, freemidi sucks it,s a%se. tongue.gif
as i don't use dp3 or cubase i can't say for sure, but i don't see a reason to use either. huh.gif
surely, like logic, they have their own midi drivers that can be configured and used instead of oms etc?
it's got to be worth a try, logic is so much better without either that i could never go back...
good luck! rolleyes.gif
