My Keystation 49e doesnt work. someone sent me their core midi files, i replaced them but it still doesnt work. Im going to reinstall Panther to factory settings. Im new to mac, and thats what someone told me to do. Is there any other alternative?

Another possibility: blocked usb ports in some way. so reset the motherboard should do the trick, trouble is, I don't remember the way to proceed on powerbooks… (I'm a poor G5 user Someone ? Also, with another cable?
