Sorry if this post is in the wrong forum but I'm stumped!
Some one emailed me the answer to an internal sound card problem I was having (thanks Aireckzoser!) but does anyone know how to do this: QUOTE "That sound is coming from your powerbook, 9 times out of 10 you have the black Powerbook, I had that problem before, and I found out that it was the OSX OS, to get rid of the sound you have to reinstall your hold Operating system so I hope you have OSX install CD. The Problem came from trying to run a standalone VSTi using your internal soundcard at 16bit." Also please please help: if I do the above, will I lose everything on my computer??? -------------------- |

I think he means Old or whole OS.
Put your OSX sytem disk in your drive, reboot while depressing the "c" key. this will force you to boot from the DVD. Archieve and install, will maintain system settings and apps, and install the Os. if that option is not available you will have to wipe your disk and do a clean install. Good luck. -------------------- G-Dub
