I'm sorry if this has been covered already. I couldn't find any threads. I don't know anything about music and I have GarageBand. What I want to do is sing lyrics and put music behind it. Anyway, I have the tabs (for piano) to the song I would like to sing and I am wondering if I am able to enter the notes without actually recording the keyboard or real instruments. So, basically, can I just plug in the notes and have the program play them? I hope that makes sense. I don't know the terms for anything. I'm just a beginner and right now, I am playing around. In a few months I will be taking lessons for bass guitar; hopefully my knowledge for music will improve. Thank you for any help or advice.

Thank you very much. I am very happy to hear this. I have a problem with ever finding the information I need in the manuals. Thanks again for all the info. I'm so excited to try this out.
