I asked a question when I first joined this site about files that are mastered (bounced) into & their appropriate uses what I'm wondering about is the difference & again where & how it would be applied I understand the use of multiple mono & stereo interleaved but have just happened upon mono summed What is mono summed??............anybody Yours questioningly Isaac http://www.qpqproductions.com

i record the tracks on an other system (pro-tools) after the mastering has been done. I'm not quite sure what your point is? But yeah, mastering engineers don't do mixdowns, they apply mastering processing to the final master that's been created by bouncing the mix from multitrack, desk or whatever.
