Hi everyone,
Having heard on this forum (on an earlier topic I started) that an iMic is not the best solution to record instruments whilst monitoring them live....I was wondering if you guys could suggest any USB2 or Firewire ex. soundcards for my iBook G4 that I could use in Logic Express 7 or Garageband that WOULDN'T have the same poor latency problems I am experiencing with my Griffin iMic - I just can't use it the delay is so bad! Is it possible to get a firewire or usb soundcard with zero detectable live monitoring latency?!? Any pointers to products no more than £100 2nd hand (yes I know its a tight budget!) would be great! What you want is a product with a direct monitor out. Headphones or speakers.
