I cannot seem to find how to rename currently un-named tracks in my iTunes directory and thus I have several "track1" and 2track 2" etc etc.
Can anyone please advise how I do this, pleas? |

Both of the last posts are totally correct, and you can also highlight the track then use "Apple" "i" (get info) to name it. This is particularly useful if you want to name the artist for all tracks in an album. If you highlight all the tracks (using "shift" click to get all tracks between first and second click) or "Apple Click" to get all tracks you click. Then "apple" "i" (get info again) and you can update multiple tracks. Not so useful for individual tracks but really good to update an album title or artist or genre.
Just a small (obvious!?) point, if you are connected to the Internet when you import a track from a cd, itunes will get all track names artist, album etc. Though only if it is a commercially available cd, if its one of your own this won't work! Hope that helps. jake. |
