Hey everyone,

I am in the market to get a new mac for my recording setup, and am currently using a delta 1010 interface. My question is whether or not I can use that particular interface with the new imac g5? I dont know much about macs (pc user) but at first glance it doesn't appear to me that you can apply any add-ons to the system. If there is anyone that has the answer to this question, some info would be greatly appreciated.

The G5 tower will work with the delta 1010, however depending on how old your PCI card for the 1010 is, you may have to get it modified by M-Audio.
The original versions of M-Audio Delta cards operated on 5 volts as supplied by the original PCI bus standard. The newly revised cards are PCI 2.2 compliant (3.3 volts) allowing compatibility with 64-bit PCI-X standards on all Power Mac G5s.
If you purchased your Delta card on or after August 1, 2003, there is no charge to upgrade your card. For users who purchased their Delta cards prior to August 1, upgrade fees and shipping charges apply.
