Hello,
I'm using Logic Express 7, and I am a complete novice, this is my 5th hour of owning it. I have 4 MIDI tracks that I have recorded and would like to convert to an MP3 file. I have created a track and set it to Output 1-2. I then go to FILE > BOUNCE and set all the options accordingly. The MP3 file is then created with the correct seconds and file name, but I hear no sound. I also see no activity in my panels when I have the Output 1-2 track selected. I know I'm doing something wrong, or forgetting to do something. What else do I have to do? -------------------- Connor Fabiano

all you do to bounce your vitural instruments to audio file is:
solo the audio instrument track. open a track mixer on the master output push the boucne button at the bottom answer the questions where to save and other option. offilne you will not hear the track - much faster realtime it plays the track while bouncing. to bounce external midi gear. connect the output of your midi module to some type of input device. on an audio track arm it for recording. choose the correct inputs. solo the midi track that triggers the module and choose record. that is it. that is how you get your midi being internal or external to be audio files. it is also on page 285 of the manual with full photos, and step by step instruction. |
