Hi.

I have a little problem with Logic 6 Platinum.

Everythime when I launch a song with audio samples for each sample I get these masage:

Insufficient access privileges for operation

Result code= -5000

File= (name of sample.wav)

On the left top corner I can see a window with creating overview for each sample.

It is realy annoying, becouse I get these mesage for every sample ever used in the song, regardless of sample still used or not.

How can I turn this off?????????

Please help!!!!!

Thanks

Are your audio files on a different partition or drive from OS X? If so, repairing permissions won't cure this.

If this is the case, do a Get Info on the drive or partition your samples are on. Click the "Ownership & Permissions" arrow. Put a check mark in the "Ignore ownership on this volume" check-box. This should fix your problems.

Just to be totally sure, also click the "Details" arrow. "Owner" should be your short name, and access for Owner and Group should be "Read & Write." If they're set to "Read Only," click the lock icon, enter your Admin password, and you'll be allowed to make the changes you require (if the account you're booted in has Admin privileges).

This should help you get sorted.
