always on a tight budget will need something to transport files between computers at school, at home and at friends: a pretty mixed OS environment. and i need music to shut out the dork talk at school. the shuffle seems really nice. random is sweet. rather get an ipod than a simple key memory. anyone tried hooking it up to a mac booted in os9? if it is usb mass storage that should work, right? just for file access I mean. eh... probably won´t be any macs bootable to os9 in sight of the shuffle about now...
