From what I've been told the G5 1.8 single processor is much more stable than the more powerful models with dual processors, especially in regards to music editing???
Anyone care to speak from experiance regarding this??? |

I have a 1.8 ghz G5 since july 2003. I have also read this. But I often miss the power of two cpu - working in DP 4.5 with some virtual instruments will very quick put the single cpu on its maximum.
So in this case I would have bought 2x2 ghz from the beginning. But for editing --- you probably wont need double cpus. |
