I'll try to state a question from my father...

He has
- a Powermac 7600
- Opcode Studio 64X
- and a lot of other machines ("behind" Opcode)

Now he has got a G3 Blue and White and tried to connect his Opcode with Mac via KeySpan.
He uses Logic with dongle (Mac has a connector for it). Logic plays the music, but it seems that Opcode doesn't receive anything.

Could anybody help us? I've just read a lot of articles, and I think it should work...

you should always choose x1 communication with the mac, and then, increase the speed of communication further, on evidence of successful results!
you use logic! rolleyes.gif
you can easily turn oms off in your midi options, and configure your midi setup in the environment! wink.gif
logic has a midi driver "to die for", it makes oms look stupid...
o.k.
the graphics aren't as good. biggrin.gif
logics' command of midi is unbeatable. learn the "environment"! rolleyes.gif
