Protools user transitioning.. firewire 410, dual G5 2.0 and can create/write input midi notes but have tried importing my midi files and a standard midi file from web to no avail. Protools it will show up in a track but no go with Logic. Documentation doesn't inform me in any way. Any advice would be appreciated.

to add on to the other posts if i may...
you need to assign an instrument to the channel. it sounds like you are importing the file, but there isn't an instrument on the channel. go to the mixer and assign an VI to the channel, and i bet you here something.\\ happy recording, editbrain |
