Folks,

Any pointers on where I would find a really comprehensive how-to on how to set up an MBox on the G4. I've got an Audiophile sound card and an MBox, and a set of Cambridge Soundworks powered speakers. I want to learn ProTools 6.x, which I have installed, but I can't quite figure out quite how to configure the Panther sound module with the hardware.

thanks,

Bond

well, for pro tools, just make sure you have the latest version, plug in the mbox (into the mac, not a USB hub) and go.

To use other apps with your Digidesign hardware you must simply have the coreaudio driver installed, and selected in AudioMIDI setup (/Applications/Utilities) Make sure you have the latest coreaudio driver (6.5.2) for this too, as it is much better than the one that ships with versions prior to Pro Tools 6.4.

Good luck!
