Actually BTW setting up a PC for Audio is pretty darn simple...so I have to assume you got your computer science degree in a Frickin raffle!!

Geez. So much for netiquette. I guess I won't be tuning into these wars I again. No, the computer science degree was not a 'Frickin raffle' and as a matter of fact it's one of the better places in the U.S, but I digress. No, neither the PC nor the Mac was set-up for audio, I was just commenting on the general design to start with. The program in question was the NNXT sampler in Reason loading up a gigasample steinway. Maybe Reason is more optimal on the mac, I don't know, it's just that it seemed like a funny fact. Just for your information, yes I know Wintel machines could be good when they are made for audio, people swear by their gigasampler stations, etc. There's also custom solutions only available for PC's like Sadie etc. Those are great, for those who could set it up, afford it, etc. great, and for the rest of us, I'm just saying Macs are great.
