I'd really say that if you want a fast machine, get a Mac G5. Whether you choose the Dual 1.8 GHz, the Dual 2.0 Ghz or the 2.5 Ghz G5 is up to you. Apple's G5 Dual 2.5 GHz wasn't made "The world's fastest personal computer" for nothing  But of course... it's your money and your decision.
