Hi everyone,I know this might sound naff, but I'm new to Mac,(finnally gave up that horrid pc),the thing is I'm using a digi001 in os x (10.2.3) with Pro tools, and I can't get the plugins to work,I've tried everything, put the plugins in every folder I can imagine, and still can't get protools to recognize them,so,I can't use my Autotune,or the bombfactory or focusrite plugins..and yes they're all for os x
Any help?? thanx |

glad to hear you are on the Mac side of things now and sorry no one has been able to help... I work solely in OS9 with PT and so I am not sure what to tell you about your problems in OSX though. Hopefully another OSX PT user can jump in and offer some advice

HI! Plugs go in osx/applications/digidesign/protools/plug-ins alias
open the alias and drop them in. It's a good idea to repair permissions when you do a new "install" also make sure you are using the osx updates, the os9 plugs will not work at all. good luck! also, check out http://duc.digidesign.com/postlist.php?Cat...lapsed&sb=5&o=7 this area is called the DUC. A nasty lot, but lots of good information here. Welcome to mac, you won't be sorry. This post has been edited by randomizer: Wed 19 Nov 2003, 22:17 |
