QUOTE I have 2 Focal. both tweeter get dead ! ( at that price they could have put a limiter) I have to write 3 emails to Focal to told to send the tweeter back. I receive them back saying they cannot repare and I have to go to "la maison du HP" La maison du HP replace them with other ones from Focal without a protection (because they do not have 2 in stock) and they toll me to contact Focal to get the protection. Answer from Focal "we do not have them" The story started the beginning 2000 and finished on the 5th of September ! Mhhh. That's odd. My experience is very different from yours. I've only dealt with Focal Professional Division, which just started doing business, and they have been very good. Are you dealing the HIFI division? The Focal Professional speakers just came out this month, I'm test driving a pair of the SM8s and I'm pretty amazed by the sound, the crafstmanship and the service too. They were very swift and eager to hook me up with demo units and very thourough in helping me set them up (They have a pretty extensive set of controls) The SM8 are by far the best mid-field speaker I've heard. (I've tested/used/owned Adams, Dynaudios, Mackies, Westlakes, ATC, Genelecs of all sizes, Truths, Yamahas, KRKs and Tannoys) I'll mention this thread to them on Monday when I call them to tell them I'm keeping the demos and sending them a check I hope your problem gets resolved. Don't let that get in the way of you listening to these new speakers, they're pretty unbelievable. Ciao, Fab
