Go to Apple Menu and choose Control Panels > Keyboard
Click on "Function Keys".
Click on symbol for function key you want to assign to program (i.e. F1-F15).
Search for the program on you drive.
Click "Assign"
Make sure "enable hot Function Keys" is ticked.
that's it,

Hi, I'm working with a friend who's just bought a G4 with Logic Audio 4.7. We're both new to Macs and following an accident we managed to reassign 2 of the function keys. I found your thread and used your guide to put Logic back on its original key. However, when we now try to open it we get a message asking "Where is Logic Audio 4.7?" Have we done more damage than we thought and how do we put it right?
