hi everybody!
I'm going to buy a new Mac 1G dual and I'd like to continue using my MidiTimePiece AV that actually use with ProTools 5.1.3/OMS (d24 Digidesign card), OS 9.1; can you help me finding the best choice (lowest latency) of a usb/serial midi adapter? possibly I wont use a PCI card but I really dont know how those software adapter works; also I'm going to upgrade to OS X (hope d24 works with PT 6), so the choice should be compatible with the new operating system. thanks so much, peace zeze |

The only option I would recommend to get your serial MIDI interface working on your new mac is a stealth serial port http://www.geethree.com/
It is also the only way to get your interface to work under OS X. Have a read of the post "Do Not Throw Your Serial Midi Interface, Stealth port working with 2 MTP II under...." in "Software on Mac OS X" |
