Hi,
I've got an issue with my lightbridge running 10.4.10. I installed everything and it works on the audio side but in the midi setup of my audio midi setup my computer doesn't show my lightbridge as a midi device. I can't access the midi ports in any of my DAW's. Of course this is because the audio midi setup doesn't seem to see the lightbridge. I've talked to their tech support and tried installing the same OS using apple's combo installer and deleted my audiomidisetup prefs and the MIDI prefs in my ByHost folder. Still my AMS doesn't see the lightbridge midi. I guess I could always use something else to send and receive midi but I just want to make sure the lightbridge works properly. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Valente

Thanks to the online tech support at m-audio I've found the solution to my problem. There was a midi driver from my digi 002 in the Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Midi Drivers folder that kept my audio midi setup from seeing the profire lightbridge as a midi device. I had been reading about problems people were having when trying to use 2 m-audio firewire devices and losing midi support for both. I thought maybe this might have something to do with my problem as well and I guess it sort of did. When I looked inside this folder I saw 3 files related to the Digi 002. There was an MAudioFirewireMIDI.plugin driver and a DigidesignFirewireMIDI.plugin driver. I just put the DigidesignFirewireMIDI.plugin file in another folder inside the Midi Drivers folder and the Lightbridge showed up in the AMS and worked as it should after that. I also tested my digi 002 to see if it worked properly without the driver and it seemed to send and receive midi just fine. I haven't tested extensively but so far all seems well. I am just posting this in case someone may be having a similiar problem and to give m-audio's online tech support some credit for sorting out my problem.
