Could you guys advise me on some equipment to get, here is what i currently have..
Powerbook g4 800 Logic audio 5(i did the spiffy cross grade to mac) Kurzweil pc2x +other synths/gear what audio interface should i get as i am new to mac I want something semi-mobile i was looking at the emagic stuff. Also what could i use to hook up my alesis monitors to my powerbook? |

hmm... well I would suggest maybe the emagic audio interface with either 2 in 6 out or 6 out 2 in configuration for your audio. Then you might consider maybe the emagic AMT-4? (think that is model) for midi. You can go with other brand names just as easy but since you already have the Logic software... you could keep it all integrated with the same the brand name which sometimes makes life easier but not always.
The Mbox is another audio consideration. Haven't used it but I have Digi001 and really like it and ProTools LE. Plus I think the interface should work with the Logic as it does with my Digi001. I personally think the combination of ProtTools and Logic in the studio is great because in some ways they seem to compliment each other but that is just my opinion. -------------------- ----------------------------------------
