how did you import them? just dragging files off the CD with the Finder should result in 44.1/16 aif files which Reason should have no trouble with. You could also use iTunes by just setting the import format in the preferences > Advanced > importing. anyway. SoundConverter should also let you go from whatever you have to whatever you want. http://www.macmusic.org/software/view.php/lang/en/id/579/

QUOTE (lancet @ Fri 26 Jan 2007, 05:40) how did you import them? just dragging files off the CD with the Finder should result in 44.1/16 aif files which Reason should have no trouble with. SoundConverter should also let you go from whatever you have to whatever you want. http://www.macmusic.org/software/view.php/lang/en/id/579/I just dragged them to a folder. I'm not sure what is up w/ Reason. I would use iTunes, but I don't want to have to go in and convert a bunch of little samples one by one. I think I'd prefer to use .wav when possible, anyway...in case I need to give samples to someone on a PC for a remix or something. I was thinking about getting something like CDXtract, but I'll check out SoundConverter...it's much cheaper. Thanks!
