Good Morning

We have just bought a JBS PMC 8 channel powered mixture for our church and are wanting to setup the cabling to allow instrument plug in at the front of the church and connect to the mixer at the rear.

The distance is probably 30 meters and all cable will be directed through purpose fitted conduit below the floor.

Are their any rules or special cables that should be used - I am looking at about 12 pairs and wondered if the UTP Cat 5 cable for computer cabling would suffice.

I would appreciate all suggestions and advice.

My 80 year old mom currently has a tv, a DVD player, a VCR, and a Comcast cable box.
