Hey all

I just got the new Mac Pro Finally in.

Now i need a new audio interface and i am tossing up between these 2

Apogee Symphony System as following

1 * Apogee Symphony card + X-symphony Exp Card + rosetta 200 Ad/Da

or

Esemble Firewire interface

Any one got the Esemble what are the Mic pres like ? whats the latency compared to the pci-e symphony is it huge in difference....

Cheers

I have been using an Ensemble for a while and its exactly what you would expect! Good quality.
The latency is very low if you set the buffers low enough, but I don't think it's as good as the Symphony, you probably only talking less than a millisecond I guess!
The all-in-one advantages of the Ensemble are for some.
