I have to imagine that the site redesign accompanied the Daily Digest redesign. Or should I say, lack of design. the daily e-mail I received was laid out very well. Readable and useable. Now, it looks like a stream of conciousness post. Lousy margins. Barely any line breaks. None of No more table-style layout with shading that made the last version so user-friendly. I use Firefox v1.5.0.3 as a browser. Please don't tell me that a Mac-specific site doesn't support a cross-platform browser.

Please list all the bugs you encounter only in this thread, it'll make things easier for us to debug. Thanks a lot! Now ddoty1, I don't understand, are you talking about the board or about the digest? The board from Invision in V 2.x is more than a year old and we waited for it to be cleared of bugs as much as possible, both the board and the digests are generated by this code and should be compatible, else there's a lot of people who should be annoyed right now. I call the webmaster and we'll see that closely. Could you send us the digest you received? I contact you privately for the email.

Hey folks, we are actively debugging the new website, but we can't find everything alone, so tell us of anything bizarre. Don't forget to mention: - the URL of the page (or the section where the bug appears) - your mac model - OS flavour you're running - Browser Also we have a massive slow down of the site for some members in OS 9 and in some OS X configs, we need to now all this precisely in order to correct the issue as fast as possible. For this issue, add to your setup description the type of connection you use (DSL, cable, etc.) Soif the webmaster will not necessarily answer specifically to each of you, but he's needing your input to get the V3 alive and kicking and as bug free as possible!

hey folks, I don't know if this si a real bug or not but around the time that you started redoing the site, i lost my newsletter for a coupleof weeks. I finally went back to the site and re-entered my email adddress and that seems to have fixed the problem. I am once again receiving the letter. Do like the new look tho. Keep on rockin'!

Hi there spotted a couple of bugs, on this page http://www.macmusic.org/news/view.php/lang/en/id/4523/ Bias extends offer... If I try to re size the page or scroll down the page to read the full article then the body of the article disappears? I assume this is a CSS positioning quirk? On the same page the drop down menu does not fit properly, Home > News > Links > Community > Articles > Classifieds but then software is just "> So" It appears that the > Software and > About Tabs appear on the line below which means you cannot choose the correct item from the coloured tab list. Also unless you hover over them on the line below they are invisible, rather confusing, and possible another CSS problem? Even if I resize the window the navigation bar does not fill the page. but strangely once I got to the Add Reply form, the nav bar did fill the page? OK now time for an admission, these problems are when I view the site at work on a (ahemm embarrassed!) Windows XP machine using Explorer version 6, so maybe all is well on a MAC and as your site is aimed at MACs this is not too big a problem. Anyway, I love the site find it very useful, and do all my music on MACS at home! I like most of the redesign, but personallyam not particularly enamoured bythe Logo or falshing banner ads at the top of the page, otherwise well done! Cheers Minsybabs

Keep posting if you see something fishy (even on windows, we do care as some members come to visit us on both platforms and even Linux and we want it to be the best as possible) The problems with IE will be solved last, as it's maybe the worst browser to work with… In case, use Firefox, it's wayyyy better (ok it it's at work, you may not be able to…). On the mail issues, yes there's was a quirks some time from the switch on. It's been repaired. minskybabs, soif will see you post and try to care of this, though he may not post (very busy). If you see post disappearing, it's Soif removing issues soved (faster for him to keep track of things this way). And thanks for the cool words, we're only as great as our members (And there's MORE to come…)
