Think about this. The headphones might be wireless but the transmitter must usually be plugged in to the mains.

Sorry to say that wireless headphones won't work because you still have to plug the wireless transmitter into the headphone jack.. The transmitter works off the mains so even if your headphone jack did function it would only work where you can plug the transmitter into the wall.
