I am a new logic user. I have connected a new m-audio 88 key controller to a g-4 laptop mac via usb. Logic is receiving midi messages and V.U. on midi tracks, shows a signal but there is no sound. Audio tracks are audible, midi tracks are not. I am also using an m-audio interface.

help...me...helpme. thanks alot!

I am no expert but I thought that MIDI tracks are not audio, whichi is why you hear nothing being produced. MIDI is controller information, without a sound source creating Audio information into Logic, you have no sound. Please, someone tell me if i'm wrong, I plan on getting my audio workstation up and running within a couple of months, hopefully.
