I just got my first mac, a intel based iMac and i want to purchase Logic express as soon as i can. I see that i need the 7.2. correct me if i am wrong but i think that there is no Logic 7.2 full, and i first need to get and install Logic 7 using rosetta, then purchase and upgrade to 7.2?

If this is right is rather messy, isn't it?

No, 7.2 is the ONLY version that will install and work on a MacIntel.

Check the forums at the apple site for a definitive answer, they have support people in the forums.

I think7.2 is a new bundle with lots of loops and effect plugins included in price
I am thinking of upgrading to express 7.2 from 6.4

7.2 is the newest version and will work with intel-mac core. If your in school I recommend buy Logic through the Apple Store. It's half price. That is for Logic Express and Logic Pro. The only stipulation is that you are not eligiable for any future upgrades. At half price, you could buy the next upgrade version when that comes out. It's a great deal through the Apple Store.
