Hey all
I am running Logic 7.1 and I have a fantom x8 i have recently had a problem with the midi , i am getting a midi message signal coming through to the seq as it shows up on the transport but when i go to the side (arrange page) and select a fantom X track it select bank and number it shows its playing the sound but no sound whats the problem any one know ?\ thanks in advance |

First thing I think of (trivial): is the Fantom set on Local Off? Check the set up on it.

Yep local is set to of and i am in USB mode /Midi

If it works when you play a track back from the sequencer, then the Local Off setting is what causes it. What you need to do is turn on "soft thru" in the sequencer. -------------------- Dave Cornutt
