Hi people,

I am looking for advice from some sage users of portable studios. I would like a small, two octave controller keyboard, to carry around so I can punch beats when I'm away from home. I have perusaled some pages and reviews, but value your experience above what I've read elsewhere; so any responses would be greatly appreciated. My only preference is that I'd rather have a USB/MIDI keyboard, simply because they are cheaper than the Firewire ones.

Many thanks in advance

I can highly recomend one of the novation range. I use an x-station-bit heavy for travel + maybe more features than you need but they do have a good range of other models. An excelent company to invest in too as their costomer support is very good.
