I know I may be spazzin out, but with my G5 setup and my Motu 828 there is no issue with bouncing AU instruments to Audio tracks. However when I try to do it on my Powerbook 1.67ghz with the firebox no matter what input I select for the audio track, there is no record signal. What the heck am I doing wrong?

All insight would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how you are trying to do it, but...

I just lock-solo the track (option-S with default key setup), and press bounce on the master fader, then press bounce and add in the bounce window, then drag the resulting file back to the arrange from the audio window, no audio tracks, record signals or inputs required (except for the track u put the bounce onto of course) The audio interface you use should make no difference in this case.
