I played around with this demo for a couple of days. The sound is phenomenal. It is very efficient CPU wise. When I bought the full version I was annoyed to discover it required a PaceSupport i-Lok USB key, but this seemed to work fine for me on a hub, despite the manual saying I should give it it's own slot.
What it does well is the massive sounds of trance/techno and bass. Think of it as Reason's subtractor/Malstrom on steroids. It's not up to the soundscapes of Absynth, but I could never program that one. I've yet to get into the depths of programming it but it has a sensible 'revert' option that allows you to see whether your 'tweaks' have improved the patch or not. The bundled library is very large but I've yet to find a forum that allows users to share their creations, as it is quite new.
Gripes?
£195 is a lot to pay for - I hope MOTU repay my investment with a few years of free upgrades.
I-Lok is not my favourite copy protection method, but that is how the software world is going these days..
I recommend the DEMO completely!

You seem convincing in your judgments. And demo works good or they put the frightful noise to him? After reading your commentaries I have desire to prove it. I have iLok with Waves, Cycling'74 and URS. You have problems with the key? Sometimes I think about the amount of plugs that I have in the key, and it gives fear me to think that it is possible to be lost or...On the other hand when I changed to the G5, it was a lightening to install plug of iLok.
