I am new to this page but I need help please any one.
I just setup MacOS X With TASCAM fw-1804 ALSO WITH lOGIC 7 EXPRESS am starting Live recording using Tascam 1804 and i want to use all the 18 input. My Question is how do i go with recording live and where do i get the input cables.

Please be more specific on what you mean by "how do i go with recording live".

If you mean the whole live recording thing - it's a _huge_ subject (and I strongly suggest you obtain some literature to find out more), but basically you just mic every instrument and connect the mics (or line inputs) in your 1804, possibly via mic preamps, compressors or whatever stuff you want to use.

But if you mean how to proceed with the connections -> you connect your FW-1804 into your computer's FireWire and install the drivers. You don't need other cables to connect to the computer.

Input cables for 1804 (XLR / plug / etc.) are standard stuff, get them from your local music equipment shop.
