Wow, I am completely stumped...

I have installed the Eastwest Silver Edition Orchestra software and I have installed the appropriate DFD. Now what? There are no detailed directions on what to do next, how to use the dfd with the software, how to load the orchestra samples into Kompakt, how to use as stand-alone or plug-in, or how to use the software period! I am very frustrated and defeated. If there is anyone out there that has experience with this that can help me (explaining in detail 'cause I'm very new to this:) I will forever be greatful!! Thanks so much!!

Bonjour,

I'll try to help you:
first, there is an eastwest forum where you'll find more help:
http://www.soundsonline-forums.com/forumdi...display.php?f=1

Then, well, load your kompakt player and then you'll find easilly how to load instruments, right ? just click on one of the instruments place and load whatever you want.
For DFD, click on options, and choose DFD, then turn it on. Generally default settings are alright, but you ca TRY, then you'll know what is best suited for your system.....
Regards,

Amaury
