Hi,

I am probabl;y just missibng something really simple here, but I am having problems actually installing plug ins and soft synths.

I know some automatically install when you click on them, but how about the other ones..?

Do you put them in a particular folder? I am using a G4 with cubase SX.

Can anyone help??

Thanks,

Rez

I'm assuming you are on OS X.
If you have a VST plugin (ending in .VST) which doesn't have an installer it will usually go in

Macintosh HD>Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>VST

or

Macintosh HD>Users>"your user name">Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>VST.

And Audio Units plug-ins go in:

Ahhh. I didn't see that he wrote that he was using Cubase.
Now I understand why you didn't tell him where to place AU plug-ins. rolleyes.gif
