QUOTE (gicals02 @ Feb 20 2005, 02:45) Hi, i'm just starting with DP 4.5 and don't have the manual. Any ideas on where I might be able either to find a pdf version of the manual or just some good tutorials? Much thanks. Just call MOTU tech support and tell them you didn't get a manual with your legally purchased Digital Performer 4.5 package. You can get a replacement manual from them. That's assuming you actually have a legally purchased Digital Performer 4.5 package, of course.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that might not be an, um, option...[feels really guilty]...Any other ideas?

If the retail price of DP4.5 is too high for you, try looking for it on eBay - make sure the auction specifies the manuals are included. Non-pirates have the manual to sell. Don't pirate software. If you want a good cheap sequencer, check out Tracktion from Mackie, it's really swell and only $80.
